Hey guys!! Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year, yes it truly has been that long since I've had chance too get myself on here. *Sigh* I've just been so mega busy! Anywho this is just something I've been tinkering away with in my spare time over the holidays and as I was doing my art for the bloodskins I felt like finishing it off (I cannot leave unfinished art long) lol. This is Kadu's brother, I will be using him in the Heartlands, when it is up and ready too go, which will be only a little bit longer I hope.

Anywho, there are so many mistakes with this image it's ridiculous, so please don't critique. I have also completely messed up his anatomy *face palm*. Also just realised his chakra's wrong *goes to edit*

Special Abilities: Using the ability of sound and vibration, Sonar can pick up any other felines abilities from the sound waves and vibrations they make when using their abilities. He can also remember these powers, and call on them as he needs them in his teaching capacity.

Personality: Sonar can appear like a bitter lion, but he has a good heart, it just takes a while to find it. His bitterness stems from his past, the loss of his mate and cub, but he never looks at the past, only learns from his mistakes, he always looks to the future, making sure he'll never make the same mistakes again. Sonar loves to teach young ones, although his patience can be tried when they don't listen or would rather be playing. Unfortunately Sonar's love of knowledge and teaching makes him kind of intolerant to misbehavior and play, thus he can appear beyond his years.

Size: Average male lion
Physical Description: Sonar is much like his brother looks wise, they're pelt patterning is very similar, although the colouring is not. While Kadu is darker and with an khaki hue, Sonar is quite pale, still with brown undertones, but his main pelt colour is a light beige. His mane goes backwards rather than forwards, and is completely off of his face. He is blind in his left eye, and three large scars skim over it and down his cheek, from when he found his mate and cub murdered.

History: The story of the Heartlands is plain and simple, it begins with two brothers, both born to the Alpha Adu of the Ohirof Pride, one born to rule; Kadu, the other born to go out into the world and find his own place; Sonar. Kadu and Sonar were twins, Sonar older than Kadu by one minute. Even though Sonar was the eldest, through his cub years he never showed interest in ruling a pride, never bothered with training and he was just happy to be. Kadu on the other hand always loved training, and showed his father great excitement and enthusiasm whenever alpha duties called. He had the build, the brains and the want to be a great leader, and so it was decided that Kadu would be chosen to rule.

Through their cubhood the brothers had the best lives they could, but when they grew to adolecents it was time for Sonar to travel and find his place. Sonar trekked for months, being a lone rogue, finding no one to share his life with. He had no ambition to overthrow another lion and take their pride for his own, but he did have a longing to share his life with someone, and not be a loner for ever. Although it wasn't too long before he stumbled upon a female rogue, Evana. She was badly wounded and had been thrown from her own pride, for a reason Sonar never found out. Sonar found her and helped her recover from her wounds, and in time the pair fell in love, and started their own family, just the pair of them. Evana was always making sure Sonar, her and the cub kept moving, so as her past could not find it's way back to her. Although sadly one day it did. Sonar was out one day, hunting for food for the family when he returned he heard frightened roars and screams, dropping the carcass he ran for their den to find a huge Lion fighting his small family, he didn't have time to see the cub lying bloody and motionless on the floor. Sonar flung himself at the Lion and eventually scared him off, but not before the offending lion left Sonar blind in his left eye. He went to Evanas side, but all too late...

Kadu ran from the lands that were once his fathers trying to find safety somewhere. He ran straight into the tracks of his brother. The two were happy to meet again, but both had heavy hearts. They took off as rogues together trekking to find a better place, a place somewhere far away, some where where they could find happiness and forget their pasts. The two grew into mature adults together, leaving their younger adolescent selves behind. One early morning as they were sleeping in a cave Kadu awoke with a strange feeling, he glanced to the back of the cave, there was light. Waking Sonar he decided to inspect it more, the two pushed through the back of the cave, moving the debris and rocks they were hit with a blinding light, and before them stood a wondrous land, this wondrous land was the Heartlands.

The brothers explored the lands that surrounded the mysterious large rock and savannah area. There was no one else here, well, there was two other felines; BLANK and Chord, they appeared a couple of days after Kadu and Sonar had found the Heartlands, Yuna had the idea to start a whole pride and a new existence here in these lands. They all got to work, and as they worked upon their new found community the felines discovered upon their arrival they had changed somewhat, and possessed new abilities. As other felines started appearing in mysterious ways, some amazing creatures with wings and powers, others normal forms of their species, all different felines from everywhere, all possessing new traits they didn't have before. Everyone arrived in different ways, everyone unique, some didn't even want to be in the Heartlands, but upon arriving felt at peace and at home. During this time Kadu and Yuna fell in love, ruling the over the lands together, Kadu didn't feel so alone anymore, he had his brother and his new beautiful mate, he was home. Although Chord had different ideas, as his dark powers grew he believed females were not to rule, when he approached Kadu about this he was furious and knocked Chord back, telling him to watch how he acts, and should keep those kind of thoughts to himself, but Chord couldn't. One evening he snuck into Kadu and Yuna's den, attempting to murder Yuna, Kadu awoke and fought him off banishing Chord to the outlands, upon where Chord set about collecting all male felines who wished to fight and claim to the Heartlands...
